Refunds

Last updated

Chapter 1 of every book is free, so you can try novel.you before you pay. If you buy a plan and it isn’t right for you, here is how to get your money back.

14 days after your first payment

Ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, and you get the full amount back. You don’t need to give a reason, and it doesn’t matter how many books you read.

After a plan renews

Plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year. If a renewal came by mistake, ask within 14 days of that payment. If you haven’t continued a book since the renewal, you get the full amount back.

How to ask

Reply to your Paddle receipt, or write to hello@novel.you from the email of your account. We reply within 2 working days. The money goes back to the card or account you paid with, usually within 5–10 days.

Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle makes the refund and sends you a receipt for it. Refunds also follow Paddle’s buyer terms.

Canceling

You can cancel anytime from Manage billing on the Plan page in your account. After you cancel, your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, and the books you have stay with you. If you want a refund too, ask for it before you delete your account.

Your rights

If you live in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you also keep your rights under consumer law. This page doesn’t take any of them away. The rest of the rules are in the terms, and plans and prices are on the pricing page.
