About novel.you
novel.you writes a book in the language you’re learning, around the words you already know. It is made by one person, Stanislav Mashkin, and published by STANMASH LTD, a small company registered in England and Wales.
What novel.you does
You answer a short quiz: which language you’re learning, your first language, how many words you know, the genre and the hero’s name. If you don’t know how many words you know, a short word test helps you find out.
Then we write your book with AI, from your answers. Our code checks every word in each chapter against the words you know, so most of every page is made of words you already have. A few new words appear on purpose, and the key words of your story come back again and again.
While you read, you can tap any word to see what it means, open the translation of a paragraph, or listen to it in an AI voice. Meanings and translations are written by AI too, and they can be wrong.
We write books in Spanish, with the Spanish of Buenos Aires, Spain or Mexico if you want it. The first chapter of every book is free, with no sign-up and no card. To read the next chapters, you sign in. Plans and prices are on the pricing page. You can start with Spanish short stories.
Who makes it
I’m Stanislav Mashkin, a software developer in London. I build web products on my own, and novel.you is one of them. When something on this site is wrong, there is one person to tell: me, at hello@novel.you. How to write and when I reply is on the contact page.
What we promise and what we don’t
We promise what the product does and can show: the first chapter is free, every word is checked against the words you know, and the key words of your story come back again and again. We don’t promise that you will speak a language in a set number of weeks, and we don’t hide that the books are written by AI.
What we keep about you, and how to delete it, is on the privacy page. The rules for using novel.you are in the terms.
